We at Running Count Inc. are printers of Tyvek® bib numbers. We have been printing and shipping bib numbers globally since 1981 and pride ourselves in printing top quality bibs with great prices and quick turnaround. Running Count is based in Windsor, Ontario, just minutes from Detroit, Michigan. We have been able to take advantage of one of the world's largest trade routes, shipping out bib numbers on both sides of the border quickly and efficiently. We pride ourselves on being able to print and delivery your numbers in a timely fashion and our location helps us do just that.
The company was started in 1981 by current University of Windsor track and field coach Dennis Fairall in his basement in Tillsonburg, Ontario. After not receiving his bib numbers in time for an event, he started to investigate more reliable options. He discovered that the most reliable option was...doing it himself! He started out in his basement printing numbers himself and brought it with him to Windsor when he came to coach the Lancers. He ran the business until he stepped down prior to the 2005 Pan American Games in Windsor. Former Lancer Darryl Currie took full control of the business from there, expanding it to include an online presence and adding new products, including track and field equipment.
Our numbers are printed on Tyvek®. Tyvek® is a waterproof and tearproof material made from plastic fibres fused together using a chemical process. The numbers are resistant to water and sweat, and will not tear if something pulls on them at any time during competition. The durable nature of Tyvek® makes our bib numbers applicable to a wide variety of events (including marathons, relays, team tryouts, skiing and biking events, and triathlons), and a fantastic souvenir from your event for participants.
We supply bib numbers for Athletics Ontario and the Running Room, and have filled orders from the Charlotte Bobcats, St. Louis Cardinals, New England Patriots, United States Army, the USA Olympic Training Center, IBM and Harpo Productions. We are also the major supplier of bib numbers for the Ontario Federation of Schools Athletic Association Track & Field Championships, the 2nd largest high school track and field meet in North America.
